A BETTER TAX EXPERIENCE

Why Fastidious Tax?

Tax preparation should feel handled.

A completed tax return is only part of the experience.

Fastidious Tax is built around preparation, communication, and attention to detail long before your return reaches the filing stage.

That means clear expectations. Defined document deadlines. Secure collection. Thoughtful review. And a filing process designed around realistic capacity instead of last-minute volume.

The goal is simple: fewer surprises, fewer unanswered questions, and more confidence that the details received the attention they deserved.

Meticulous about the work. Easy to work with.

FASTIDIOUS TAX

A more organized
tax season starts
before filing day.

Thoughtful tax preparation with clear deadlines, secure document collection, reserved filing capacity, and a process designed to keep you informed from beginning to end.

You should know what is needed, what happens next, and when to expect it.

YOUR FILING PLAN

How Filing Reservations Work

Fastidious Tax uses reserved filing capacity rather than accepting an unlimited number of returns and determining timing later.

Choose the filing window that fits when you realistically expect to have your documents ready. Your reservation protects capacity within that part of the filing season and gives you defined deadlines before preparation begins.

IMPORTANT NOTE

The time displayed during the reservation process is an administrative capacity marker only. You are not scheduling a meeting.

PREPARATION PRICING

Tax Preparation Pricing

Clear starting prices. Scope determines the rest.

Tax preparation is priced according to the work required for your return.

Filing-date reservation fees are separate from preparation pricing and reserve capacity within your selected filing window.

PRICING NOTE

Starting prices are provided for planning purposes. Final preparation fees depend on the actual scope and complexity of the return, including additional forms, schedules, states, investment activity, credits, business interests, rental activity, and other tax matters.

Your filing-date reservation secures capacity. It does not establish the final tax-preparation fee.

BEFORE YOU CHOOSE VIP

Is Early Filing Right for You?

The earliest filing date is only useful if your return is actually ready.

VIP Early Filing is intentionally limited to clients who can reasonably expect to have a complete file early.

Many tax documents are not available at the beginning of filing season. Filing before all required information has arrived can create more work later — including corrected returns, amendments, delayed processing, or unnecessary uncertainty.

VIP MAY BE A GOOD FIT IF:

  • You primarily receive W-2 income.

  • Your dependent information is already known.

  • Your standard tax documents generally arrive on time.

  • You are not waiting for partnership or S corporation K-1s.

  • You do not expect complex brokerage reporting.

  • You can meet the Fastidious VIP document deadline.

CHOOSE A LATER WINDOW IF:

  • You expect a partnership or S corporation K-1.

  • You receive consolidated brokerage statements.

  • You regularly receive corrected investment tax forms.

  • You expect composite or other late-issued tax documents.

  • A third party historically provides information later in filing season.

  • You already know your tax file will not be complete by the VIP deadline.

There is no advantage to reserving the earliest window if your documents will not support it.

Choosing the right filing window from the beginning creates a smoother process for everyone.
